More About Me
Who is Tim Karan? Tim was born in upstate NY. He attended a private liberal arts college and graduated with a degree in psychology. Tim Served in the Gulf War, and is a life member of the VFW. Tim had worked in the human service field prior to opening Buffalo Bagels in Creedmoor in 2000. The business was sold in 2004 to focus on his family and being Mayor Pro-Tempore of Creedmoor. Tim is married to Liz, they have one daughter, Madison. His political career consists of being Chairman of the Planning Board, and current Mayor Pro-Tempore, both for the City of Creedmoor. Tim first learned of KaBoom at the 2006 Congress of Cities and Exposition and this is part of my "DREAM". As a Commissioner for the City of Creedmoor I have been able to ensure that our recreation needs have a small stream of money which comes from the lease of space on our water tank to cell phone providers. Tim enjoys hunting, fishing and is a member of Creedmoor Lodge 499 AF&AM
