Steve decided not to wait for the perfect plan, but instead began taking small action steps to restore a local playspace in Washington, D.C. The Marvin Gaye Park was once a crime-ridden and rundown place, unusable by community members. Steve and his team launched the “Down by the Riverside Campaign” to make it a community gathering place once again.
