The Play Committee/Taskforce/Commission must have Play in its title because this truly highlights that you are making play an issue separate from recreation and parks.  However, it can be a subcommittee of a larger entity such as a Parks Board or Friends of Parks Group. The Committee must have a member that represents the community at-large, the business community and a member from government who is the Mayor, City Manager or a direct report to one of these officials. 

Beyond these three members you must assess who would round out this smaller team to make a complete commission, we recommend eight to 16 members.  All three of the above mentioned members MUST register as a Playmaker and highlighted in the Commission list that you submit with your application. It is ideal if every Committee member is registered as a Playmaker because this is how we will be communicating with our PlayfulCityUSA communities.  

We understand that many members are very busy people and therefore we guarantee that you will only get communications as it relates to Playful CityUSA, not KaBOOM! as a whole.  How do we ensure this?
