Schedule phone interviews with their representatives, and tell them you're gathering information for a community build; many companies have extensive experience with this sort of process. Be sure to consider the level and quality of service that representatives offer ― design experts and installers can be a great resource. Consider having a few candidates give presentations in front of your committee, and be sure to go over the terms of your contract as well as your project timeline before you make a final decision. Don't be afraid to take your time and ask questions. Company representatives should be readily available and eager to help!
