I have zero idea how I got on this list, but I received an email from a playground equipment vendor offering 30% on equipment for the holidays. Here is their pitch: Season's Greetings, Planet Safety is offering holiday discounts and incentive....

Volunteering in Maryland/DC metro area

So I had a friend volunteer with a build out in Utah when I was going to school there.  Now I'm living in MD/DC metro area and I would love to get involved with a KaBoom build.  Is there anyone in the area that is aware of a build anytime in the near future?  Please let me know!

You asked about volunteering for a playspace project in your area. Visit www.kaboom.org/volunteer for the scoop on how to find a project in your area that needs volunteers, how to spruce up an existing playspace, how to contribute to the KaBOOM! Playspace Finder, and more.

We can't always have extra volunteers at KaBOOM!-led builds. They are actually quite popular and we dont' want to wind up with more people than fit in the space. Builds where we do need extra hands go into www.volunteermatch.com. If there are any builds in your zip code, they will come up in your search.
