What are you doing to celebrate your Playful City National Recognition?
The City of Safety Harbor has added the Playful City Usa Logo to the front of our Recreation Program Guide that is mailed out to all of our residents 3 times a year.
We also have posters hanging at each facility and will include the Library after renovations.
Our Playful City Recognition has been added to our local city news show on two differnt months and has been added to CitiScape a mailing that goes out to all residents on a monthly basis.
An article about our playful city status appeared in the "Mayor's Corner" of the Top of the Bay Journal - a local newspaper.
Staff is also brainstorming ideas to add the logo to our summer camp t-shirts.
I noticed several cities who linked to their e-cards from their city websites. They're working, too - our traffic indicates quite a few people are following those links.
Brentwood has added the Playful City USA information to their city parks and rec signatures, allowing for increased visibility in their daily dealings with other city departments and the general public.
Has anyone put the KaBOOM! Playspace Finder on their city website?
