I have zero idea how I got on this list, but I received an email from a playground equipment vendor offering 30% on equipment for the holidays. Here is their pitch: Season's Greetings, Planet Safety is offering holiday discounts and incentive....

I just had a bowling fundriaser at a local bowling alley and I had raised the amount of $2.146! I had got tweleve lane sponsors and some people gave me $100 for a lane but most gave me $25. It is a great idea if you have a lot of family and friends and also if you have a local bowling alley that is willing to donate their alley for you!

Hey Sammy!  This is a great idea!  You could even make each lane a theme, like swings or a slide, and have the people fundraise for a specific piece of playground equipment.  If they see how much money (or bowling!) it takes to put in a single slide, then maybe they'll be a bit more generous with their donation!  Any donation is always appreciated though.  Way to go!
