Are you interested in community service, but aren’t sure what to do or how to go about getting involved? KaBOOM! has the answer for you. For one hour of certified community service credit, all you have to do is swing out to a playground, take 3 photos, write a brief description and then log on to the KaBOOM! Playspace Finder and give us the information.

(Please don't just steal the photos from some other web site. The whole point of this exercise is for you to get out and look at the space yourself.)

Once you've put in your playspaces and photos, be sure to rate it and leave a comment. Is it nice? Is it not? If you were telling your friend about it, what would you say? When you are finished, email webmaster@kaboom.org with the name or the playspaces, as well as the city and state (or just copy and paste the URL of each playspace into the email). We'll send you a certified voucher good for one hour of community service per playspace.

It’s that quick, simple and fun and your contribution will help children in your area locate the best playspaces to play at. Upload as many new playspaces as you can and you’ll receive one hour of community service credit for each additional playspace.

You should also double-check with your school or organization to be sure this will fulfill your commitment.

To get started, register with the website. (it takes just a few minutes).

Once you’re registered, you can add playspaces to the KaBOOM! Playspace Finder. Be sure to include photos, ratings and comments, and be sure to check to make sure someone else hasn't added it yet. If you have any problems or questions, you can contact webmaster@kaboom.org.
