2005 Challenge Grantee Success Story - City of Warner Robins
In the city of Warner Robins, GA, a local police department and a group of committed community volunteers received a challenge grant from KaBOOM! to successfully create a fun and safe place to play for children in their community. Armed with a $5,000 grant, the KaBOOM! toolkit and a “can-do” attitude, The City of Warner Robins, lead by Captain Lisa Angell, were able to leverage all the resources they needed to successfully complete their project. Read this inspirational success story and then talk about it in the Creating PlaySpaces Forum. |
