No Grants Here: Rural Community Raises $32,000 By the Sweat of Its Brow
In St. John, WA, the old wooden school playground was starting to wobble dangerously. When Sabrina Jones set out to build a new one, she didn't know much about playground construction or about fundraising. But with a little stubbornness and a lot of planning, Sabrina managed to raise $32,000 using local fundraisers -- in a town of 600 people! From a lucrative donor wall to silent auctions and haunted houses, the people of St. John proved that they have what it takes and so do you. Click here for the full St. John story, or read Sabrina's complete fundraising advice here.Do you have a success story to share?
