It's that time of year, when school lets out and many kids go from sitting in a classroom all day to having fun at the local playground for hours. But it's important to remember that an afternoon at the park can turn into an evening in the emergency room.

Each year, more than 200,000 preschool and elementary school-age children go to the ER for playground injuries.
