KaBOOM! and Alliance for a Healthier Generation Fight for Healthy Kids
Communities to build playgrounds at in Healthy Schools Program pilot schools
 President Clinton formally announced the new KaBOOM!/Alliance for a Healthier Generation partnership July 31. The Alliance is a joint initiative of the American Heart Association and the William J. Clinton Foundation. The new partnership emphasizes the critical need for environments like playgrounds that encourage kids to be physically active in the fight against childhood obesity. To address this, KaBOOM! and the Alliance will mobilize communities to build new playgrounds with a number of pilot schools in the Healthy Schools Program.
