Volunteers, Charities Build Playground

September 26, 2006 -- One day of hard work should pay off in years of play for families at the new Wyandotte County Community Center for Youth & Families.
On Saturday, Sept. 16, more than 200 volunteers from Opus Northwest and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City constructed a state-of-the-art playground at the new site at 13th & Troup during a one-day large-scale construction event. |
