Friday, July 20, 2007 Severe Playground Injuries Down in Canada By KaBOOM! @ 11:31 AM :: 671 Views :: 0 Comments :: General News About Play School's out for summer and the playgrounds are packed with children of all shapes and sizes burning off their seemingly unlimited reserves of energy.  But it's not all fun and games, in fact, a study in 2004-05 revealed that playground injuries sent 23 children to emergency rooms every day across Ontario.  Those numbers are virtually unchanged over the past two years.  That's the bad news.  The good news is that the severity of the injuries suffered has dropped dramatically.
