More About Me
Play is important to me because I think it teaches kids many things that they need to know in everyday life. Such as sharing, taking turns, rules, and is also good exercise. I think our world is becoming so rush rush and that we forget the importance of fun and laughing. What better way to teach this then to our younger generation by being involved and leading by example. My daughter age seven and I have a blast swinging on the swingsets, climbing on the ropes, goind down slides. We play imaginary games while we are on the play set as well. Such as we are on a big ship sailing the seas, or priates, and house as well. We recently helped build our phase one playground for Humphrey Elementary in Waverly Minnesota. We are so excited about updating the school playground and being a part of it is such a great experience and so fun as well. It will be wonderful to watch my daughter playing on the playground that I helped to put in. I have way to many playground memories as a child to pick just one but one of the best things is that I continue to build playground memories now as an adult with my child. The memories just keep growing and that is wonderful. I am just a big kid who never wants to grow up.
