More About Me
As a kid, I had big dreams - to beat out my brothers for the highly coveted position of first base"woman" for the Baltimore Orioles. Unfortunately, due to my slight height (only 5' 2" as a grown adult) I was never able to realize that ambition. Nonetheless, I decided to parlay my passion for sports and media first by graduating from Duke University with a Literature and Media Studies degree, and then by working in marketing for various sports and media entities. Now, I am proud to serve as a member of the Corporate Development team at KaBOOM! where I encourage corporations to participate in making other kids' dreams come true by building the playgrounds that inspired me to play, and dream, as a child. I have been a boomer since 2006.
