| More About Me |
| Born and raised just outside Cleveland, and usually seen as a “good kid,” time to play offered me an opportunity to push the limits. It was always an adventure to see how high I could climb, what stunts I could pull off, and what I could hang from next. Needless to say, the monkey bars were a favorite. With the adventuresome spirit of an older brother, pushing the limits usually went beyond the hand-built playground our dad made. This included making our own bike ramps, sledding down our garage roof, and much more.
Along the path of growing up, play has changed a lot for me and sadly has dwindled in many ways. After graduating with a BA in Communication Studies, I spent time working as a resident director in Ohio and as director of a youth missions site in Denver. During both experiences, I quickly learned that a person’s childhood experiences have the world of importance as that child becomes an adult. As a project manager at KaBOOM! I now have the ability to help provide safe places for today’s kids and the next generation of adults to push the limits, learn a bit about life, and have some fun.
