More About Me
My name is Carrie Silver-Bernstein and I am the chairperson of Mansfield Connecticut Loves to Play Project. By my own admission I am not you typical chairperson. I am basically you typically frazzled Mom with kids, pets, a job and a ton of laundry. I am the Mom who chases down the school bus in my PJ's because my second grader forgot her library book, lunch, mittens...I totally support our PTA bake sales but usually with a box of cookies because I didn't have time to bake the night before. So how did I get put in charge? I asked for it. For the sole reason that I believe in the project, I believe in our children, and most important I believe in our community. We moved here last year specifically for the community and its support. Our exsiting playscape was built is 1989 using the communiy build model. We expect the same success in 2007.
