More About Me
I am the current chair of the playground committee at our elementary school. I also am on the kitchen staff there. I have three boys who attend the school. The playground is in need of a redo. It is old and unsafe, you know, made of old pressure treated lumber. We need to get rid of most of our equipment, reslope the surface for proper drainage and install new equipment and surfacing. Alot of fundraising and grant writing to be done! I am attending U Play later this week. I am very excited about that! I hope to learn as much as I can about the process of planning and paying for a new playground. I am also wanting to learn more about community outreach. This project can be a very positive thing for our community and children!
