More About Me
I am the school counselor for a K-12 school that serves around 80 students with special needs. I co-chaired the playground committee that selected appropriate play equipment that would benefit our students learning to overcome orthopedic and mental challenges. Most of our students have never been on a play structure that they see others using around the city and on television, so they get excited to think they will be able to swing and go down a slide too. There is a fenced blacktop area that has been used as the playground since our school was built in 1939 that soon will be the site of all the Kabooming excitement. I have attended the U-Play conference in New Orleans to learn more.
