More About Me
I live in Bedford, Indiana and am a 3rd grade teacher at Orleans Elementary School. I live on a farm with horses, cats and dogs and LOVE animals. Along with my passion of building playspaces and teaching I also like to volunteer with other organizations. I am the President of the White River Humane Society in which I have the opportunity to plan fundraisers. My experience with KaBOOM! has been awesome and encourage others to work with them. My first playspace build was in July of 2006. I started working on my playspace with KaBOOM! in February 2006 and attended a conference in Boston and then in Chicago to learn how in the world I was going to raise the money ($65,000) and build this playground with community volunteers in ONE day! Last summer was the playground build that was VERY successful and had a tremendous amount of community support. I cannot wait until my next playspace project!!!
