Great Playground Websites
Posted: 06 Aug 07 3:02 PM
We know alot of people have difficulty with the project websites, so I wanted to highlight three different examples of solid project websites, that all use a different tack.

First, lets visit Edith Cavell School. This is a great example of a project website that is minimalist, but gets across a lot of solid information and great images. Big pictures, smiling faces, and the request for volunteers round out a simple but great site. Good job Edith Cavell!

Next we have Prospect Point Playground Project. Talk about minimalist- no pictures, nearly monochromatic, and lots of text. So what makes this a good site? It serves as a launching pad to a professionally built website at http://www.prospectpointplayground.com/. With the KaBOOM! page, they are able to harness the people power of the KaBOOM! community, as well as drive traffic to their professional (and very slick) project site. Its a great use of the tools that KaBOOM! offers in conjunction with another online location.

Last, we visit Leta Playground. This website for the finished Leta Playground, built June 27th, is great example of what can be done with the KabOOM! site builder. This site has information for each stage of the project, including a link to the final photos on the main KaBOOM! website. Fundraising, Design Day, Build Day, Calender... this site has a page for it all! A super-duper job by LionsPride07. I can't gush about it enough.

Check out these examples and please, never hesitate to ask a question or show off your site on the forums.

Ahhh, we are so honored that you put our website up as an example for others to look at. We hope that everyone can get ideas from our KaBOOM! website! Again, thank you for recognizing our website!
