I just had a bowling fundriaser at a local bowling alley and I had raised the amount of $2.146! I had got tweleve lane sponsors and some people gave me $100 for a lane but most gave me $25. It is a great idea if you have a lot of family and friends and also if you have a local bowling alley that is....

Build day signage

Michelle YMCA has a question about build day signage:

We are putting up a sign to let the community know about our build. Can anyone post examples of their signs? I'd like to see how others have done theirs.

We've had some issues posting photos to these forums, so you can use our Flickr account. Just email your image to

I'm not sure if you're looking for examples of a sign to put right near the site of the future playground or signage to post around the community to recruit volunteers.  Either way, I sent Amy some examples that have worked well for communities we have helped through the planning process in the past.  Hope they help you as well.
