Some kids at a nearby playground found used needles under a bench. What can I do? Should I contact the police?I live in the inner city and it's difficult to keep our playground clean without graffiti. The park is known to have illegal activities at night and no one does anything about it. Neighborhood Watch doesn't work in our streets, no one is willing to snitch each other out without being intimidated.

I just heard this on the news, someone poured acid on a playground in Baltimore, injuring a 2 year old boy. http://abclocal.go.com/wtvg/story?section=local&id=5213211

This is extremely upsetting and we all need to be alert to ensure that children using playgrounds are safe.
