Can anyone tell me how the depth of compressed wood mulch is measured?  I have checked in the ASTM and I know how thick it should be.  Do we just dig a bunch of holes and use a ruler?  Tim ....

Woodlands Elementary in Bremerton, WA
Posted: 11 Dec 07 7:59 PM

We built Phase 2 of our playground on Friday, November 30, 2007.  It went splendidly!

A GIANT thank you to Bob & Jackie Fojtik for getting my contact information to the SeaBees, who joined this project very late in the game, but it made all the difference in the world!!

A HUGE thank you to the SeaBees stationed @ PSNS, Bremerton for coming out 3 days in a row to help with site prep and the build.

Another HUGE thank you to Associates from FOUR area Home Depot stores who came out on build day and worked their fingers to the bone.  (It was very cold on build day and bless their hearts, they brought a propane heater so we could thaw out!)

Please see pictures on our website:  www.kaboom.org/woodlands

If anyone has any questions, email me through Kaboom.  Happy Holidays everybody!

It's so exciting to hear about these builds happening. There's another announcement here:

Is there anyone else who has built in the last couple of months and hasn't posted that information on these forums? You will get the recognition you deserve from people who actually know what you went through to get to the end of that build day.

Let's hear from you! Amy
