Can anyone tell me how the depth of compressed wood mulch is measured?  I have checked in the ASTM and I know how thick it should be.  Do we just dig a bunch of holes and use a ruler?  Tim ....

Want to try something new?

There is a kind of web site called a "wiki". It's a special kind of web site that allows groups of people to all edit the same web page. It's really good for when you have to write a document collaboratively with a lot of other people -- like a planning committee.

I've set up a wiki page at:

http://kaboom.stikipad.com/fundraising/show/Boys+and+Girls+Club+Package

with the content that mcato put up on these forums here

http://www.kaboom.org/Forums/tabid/58/forumid/202/threadid/2040/scope/posts/Default.aspx

To use the wiki page, you don't have to log in or anything. Just click the "Edit Text" button in a light gray bar at the bottom of the page. Then go in and change things that you thing might need changing, add something that is missing, change formatting. If you make a mistake and want to undo something, click the "Back In Time" link in that same gray bar.

Only one person can edit at a time so if you see a message that the page is "Locked", that means someone else is in there. Wait a few minutes and then refresh the page (or come back from your other web surfing).

You can also add Comments (another link at the bottom of the page). It just adds a thought in a separate box at the bottom of the page. It doesn't actually change anything.

I think this can be a great way for the wisdom of this community of people to really put together some best practices around playground building. Is anyone willing to give it a try? I'd really love to hear your impressions of how it works for you.

Thanks! Amy
