Brooke Bennett, National Advocacy Manager

Photo11.jpgBrooke was fortunate enough to grow up in one of the most beautiful places in the country — scenic Idaho. Majestic mountains, deep forests, roaring rivers and peaceful lakes were part of her everyday playground. Brooke spent much of her summers and winters at her grandparents’ log home in the mountains, which provided many happy childhood memories. There, she explored the meadows and rocky trails on the property and of course, spent time fishin' with Grandpa. Having the opportunity to play in a safe and beautiful place like her grandparents' home in Idaho is why Brooke is so passionate about giving other children the same opportunity to run free and play hard.

Brooke is a graduate of Boise State University — GO BRONCOS! — with a B.A. in International Relations/Business and a Minor in Spanish. When the opportunity to move to our nation’s capital presented itself, she seized the moment. She served as a lobbyist for family issues and later worked in corporate communications for a financial firm. Most recently, Brooke served as the director of communications for Shared Hope International, an organization that restores victims of sex trafficking and works to build public awareness and education globally.
