3. Take a Picture
Bring along your digital camera or camera phone and snap a few shots of the playspace.

4. Take a Minute
Log on to kaboom.org and add your playspace, comment on it, and rate other playspaces in your area.

5. Take a Stand
If you find playspaces that need help, we can help you become an advocate for play. We’ve got tips on everything from how to spruce up an existing playspace to start-to-finish guides on planning and building new playspaces.

A colorful diversion for kids who have had too much soda and are getting restless in the 6th inning.

If it wasn't for the baseball diamond, this would basically be an empty field with a swing seat in the middle of it. Not a very good playspace if you don't have a bat and a ball.

There was once a great beach connected to this park, but bacteria in the water has kept the beach closed for years. Read more here: http://www.detnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080715/METRO03/807150364/1412/METRO03. This is a good place to hang out while dropping off or picking up a boat from the nearby boat launch. Closed at night. Playground is standard posts and platforms.

Baseball, basketball, horseshoe pits-- this place has a ton of sporting stuff to do. It could use a tot-lot or a small playground to keep restless children watching events entertained.

A very pretty, scenic place to walk and talk with a companion, but kids would be bored to tears here.

This park is AWESOME! So much stuff for kids to do! I really liked the clock feature (not pictured) as you walk in to the park. The kid (or "big kid," in this case) can stand on the current date and get the approximate time by the position of their shadow. Who didn't go to the park with the words "Be home by " some time in their ears?? Fantastic!
